Asset Management Training & Development
AMCL offers a range of training and development courses, structured around the AMCL Asset Management Excellence Model™ (AMEM) which support all levels of organisational requirements, from executive overviews to detailed appreciations of Asset Management best practice. AMEM assessment training can also be provided to allow AMEM assessments to be undertaken under licence within your own organisation.
All our training courses are mapped to the Institute of Asset Management’s Competencies Framework, and can be tailored to organisational needs. The IAM Competencies framework can be seen here.
The Asset Management Primer course acts as introduction to Asset Management theory and best practice and is normally half a day in duration. This is aimed at senior management levels, but is also an introductory pre-cursor to the more detailed Principles course.
The Asset Management Principles course is a three day walk through the application of Asset Management theory and best practice. It comprises six modules of half a day each, and is aimed at developing a more detailed appreciation of Asset Management best practice. Delegates must have completed the Primer course first.
For those who wish to learn how to apply the AMCL Asset Management Excellence Model ™ under licence within their own organisations, we offer a Level 1 Assessor course which provides the core skills required to carry out the basic level of assessment using the AMEM, such as evidence collection, assessment and scoring.
We can offer "Attendance Only" or "Pass / Fail" certification (based on a short test of understanding) on completion of the courses.
